Paul Tas is NOVA Chemicals’ Director of PE Technical Services, positioned at the Center for Performance Applications in Calgary, Alberta. He is responsible for innovation in application development through the use of new product technology, and for driving customer success in the current and future market space. His main focus is on creating new technical market spaces for PE expanding growth opportunities, designing for circularity and incorporation of PCR.
Since he joined NOVA in 2003 he has had roles as product scientist, TS Team Leader, Corporate Quality Leader, Intelligence Leader and Market Manager Food packaging. He received his MSc and PhD at the University of Eindhoven, the Netherlands. He is married, with 3 kids, and enjoys any kind of outdoor activity.
