APRA will host a special industry tour and networking breakfast in Alberta’s Industrial Heartland, bringing together APRA members, municipal leaders, and key government representatives.  

This will be APRA’s first official resin manufacturing site tour, offering a unique opportunity to experience the scale and innovation of Alberta’s plastics value chain firsthand.

What to Expect 

  • Networking breakfast with industry, municipal, and government leaders. 
  • Opening remarks from key partners and invited officials. 
  • A guided bus tour of Alberta’s Industrial Heartland, with stops at key sites including Inter Pipeline’s Heartland Petrochemical Complex, and Dow Canada. 

This tour is hosted by APRA in collaboration with the Alberta Industrial Heartland Association (AIHA), with participation from key industry partners. It provides firsthand insight into resin production and infrastructure in Alberta, while strengthening connections across the plastics value chain. Attendees will also have the opportunity to engage in a conversation about Alberta’s circular plastics economy.
